Through the support of the school and the Ministry of Education, the Department of Applied Foreign Languages boasts one of the most advanced language learning facilities of its class in Taiwan. A wide range of facilities and equipment is available to teachers to assist in their preparation and instruction. Multimedia equipment provides students with interactive and entertaining forms of language learning. Furthermore, seeing that the future of many aspects of life will center around computers, computer-based instruction is increasingly emphasized. The use of computers by both faculty and students for classroom instruction and assignments promotes greater computer literacy and stimulates further interest in gaining language proficiency.
